We tailor the size and hardness of our products according to our clients’ needs. Our semi-finished products are not only applicable across all industrial sectors but are also easy to machine. Thanks to our well-established system, you can even have your desired products manufactured from your own raw materials.
ROUND WIRES
Round wires are available in Ag800, Ag925, Ag935 alloys, as well as in fine silver.
Their hardness can be hard, half-hard, or soft. Hardness values can be found in the attached table.
The maximum available diameter is 7 mm, and the minimum is 0.2 mm.
For requirements exceeding 7 mm, we recommend considering our rod materials.
Standard interval values for round wires:
From ø 7.00 mm to 3.50 mm: increments of 0.25 mm, tolerance ±0.06 mm – in ø 400 mm coils
From ø 3.40 mm to 1.00 mm: increments of 0.10 mm, tolerance ±0.04 mm – in ø 200 mm coils
From ø 1.00 mm to 0.40 mm: increments of 0.05 mm, tolerance ±0.01 mm – in ø 200 mm coils or wound
From ø 0.35 mm to 0.20 mm: increments of 0.05 mm, tolerance ±0.006 mm – wound only
HALF ROUND WIRES
Our half-round wires are available in Ag800, Ag925, Ag935 alloys, as well as in fine silver.
Their hardness can be hard, half-hard, or soft. Hardness values can be found in the attached table. The half-round wire profile is a halved circle, with the height exactly equal to the radius of the circle.
At Nemesfém Ltd., this type of wire is available from 6×3 mm down to 1.5×0.75 mm in 0.1 mm increments. Its storage form is the same as for round wire. Tolerance: 0.05 mm.
SQUARE WIRES
Our square wires are available in Ag800, Ag925, Ag935 alloys, as well as in fine silver.
The wires are rolled with rounded edges (only in the annealed condition) and are available in the following sizes:
8,7 – 8,0 – 7,4 – 6,8 – 6,3 – 5,8 – 5,35 – 4,95 – 4,55 – 4,2 – 3,9 – 3,6 – 3,3 – 3,05 – 2,85 – 2,65 – 2,45 – 2,1 – 1,95 – 1,8 – 1,65mm
(tolerance : +\-0.01mm) in coils with an inner diameter of 240 mm.
Square wires with sharp edges (available in soft and half-hard conditions) are offered from 6 mm down to 1.5 mm in 0.1 mm increments (tolerance ± 0.05 mm). Their storage form is the same as for round wires.
